Position Summary:
The Nurse Educator is a pivotal role for elevating the knowledge and experience of nurses and other stakeholders about patients’ treatment with Vyjuvek and will be part of the Medical team in Krystal Biotech.

Position Summary:
The Nurse Educator is a pivotal role for elevating the knowledge and experience of nurses and other stakeholders about patients’ treatment with Vyjuvek and will be part of the Medical team in Krystal Biotech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert training on a pre-approved curriculum to various audiences, including healthcare professionals, field personnel and office staff.
- Provide comprehensive education on Vyjuvek and recommend resources to respective stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate follow up to answer questions related to Vyjuvek preparation and administration and associated wound management.
- Enable best practice sharing amongst HCPs involved in preparation and administration of Vyjuvek and in EB management in general.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, and other clinical staff, proactively addressing their needs.
- Become a primary point of contact for field nurses and clinical staff, fielding and responding to treatment-related inquiries as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalating when necessary.
- Develop resource materials and communication plans to help healthcare professionals and families understand therapy procedures, potential outcomes, and ongoing care requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and family support.
- Ensure all activities and programs are conducted in full regulatory compliance; ensure proper documentation and protocols are being followed.
- Other duties as assigned including support to Spain, Italy and potentially for other countries.
Expected skills and experience:
- Nursing diploma with deep experience in complex wound management, in EB preferred
- Ideally at least 5 years experience in training and education
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, well-developed project management skills
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of compliance matters for the respective market
- Solution oriented, strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with numerous cross-functional partners/key stakeholders to deliver an optimized patient experience
- High proficiency in English, Spanish mother tongue, proficiency in Italian is an advantage
- Based in Spain with ability for international travel
