Job Description Summary:
Krystal Biotech Japan is seeking a Brand Strategy Manager. In this role, the manager will partner closely with senior team members to contribute to territory and account plans, facilitate healthcare professional engagement, and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders and customers. The position requires collaboration across commercial, medical, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure that all initiatives are strategically aligned, compliant, and impactful. Acting as a brand ambassador, the Brand Strategy Manager will model corporate values and play an integral role in advancing the company’s mission and vision in Japan.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies in alignment with leadership direction, contributing to territory and account plans that drive sales performance and expand brand awareness in the market.
- Partner with senior team members to educate healthcare professionals on product efficacy and safety, assist in gathering and communicating insights, and maintain a strong working knowledge of disease areas and products with a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Assist in opening accounts at targeted facilities and help strengthen relationships with KOLs and customers, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with compliance and marketing teams to ensure all customer communications meet regulatory and corporate standards.
- Organize and analyze data to identify opportunities, supporting the prioritization of efforts and the effective use of corporate resources, including marketing and patient-facing materials.
- Actively contribute to team-based promotional initiatives, fostering open communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Model corporate values and act as an ambassador for the company’s mission and vision in all interactions.
- Provide organizational and administrative support for territory activities, including contributing to business plans, maintaining accurate CRM activity records, and processing expense reports.
- Uncover hidden insights via customer engagements and market research, apply them to strategic execution.
- Maintain close communication with global marketing team to ensure the strategic consistency.
Requirements and Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Studies or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles, with a focus on biotechnology or life sciences
- Proven track record in designing and implementing brand strategies in Japan, with a strong focus on prelaunch
- Strong understanding of the biotechnology industry
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus
